As we prepare for the start of a new year and close out an old one, we would like to give our best wishes to a few of our city officials who have served us for so long. Mayor Terrill Clove has been the Mayor of Washington City for 16 years. Councilmembers Jean Arbuckle and Steve VanDerHeyden have served the community for six to eight years, as members of the council. They have sacrificed a great deal of time and energy on behalf of our community through their years of service.
