Class Descriptions
SPINNING® Greatest cardiovascular workout on the planet! Follow your instructor on a journey through challenging hills and speed-soaked valleys all while you spin your legs to the beat of the music. Excellent for beginning to advanced exercisers. If new to the class, please plan on being 10 minutes early and ask your instructor for set-up and orientation. Beginner is perfect for those new to SPINNING or those not quite ready for a regular class. You’ll learn the basics in a slower paced, full-length class. Don’t be afraid…..Come check it out!
POWER X: Get in shape and do it quickly! This high-energy workout uses a variety of formats and equipment that not only keeps you moving, but keeps your muscles guessing. There are no plateaus in this workout. If you need variety and challenge, this is the class for you!
FLEX: Its’ name says it all! This straight-up strength training class has one goal in mind……To make you strong! Instructors will take you through strength training movements specifically designed to be safe and effective. Get off the weight bench and see the results! FLEX Interval: Strength training combined with cardiovascular intervals.
BODYSLAM! If you need everything all in one class…..You’ve come to the right place! With a mix of Turbokick, FLEX and PIYO you will quickly see why this workout is one of the best! Get all the cardio, strength and flexibility training you need in one 90 minute class.
CARDIOMix: Are you ready to work? Our instructors are here to give you the cardio workout you have been waiting for. Challenge yourself with a variety of cardio-based movements from the step to the floor, maybe even a little SPIN. This isn’t your mother’s cardio class……..Let’s Work!
Beginner Classes: Specially designed for those who want to get more comfortable in group exercise. Fun music and great easy-to-follow workouts designed just for beginners.
Yoga: A balanced total body/mind workout. Stretching, squeezing, breathing, relaxing and releasing your muscles……Easing away your tension. New energy flushes through you, soothing chronic pain, strengthening weak area, nourishing and revitalizing. Come feel energized and relaxed…..All in one class. Mats provided.
AQUA: Our aqua aerobics classes are just what you need to work and strengthen your body in a joint-friendly water-environment. Great for those with arthritis and other joint injuries or disorders. Our instructors will guide you through fluid motion that not only help to relieve pain, but strengthen your muscles too. Even if you are an experienced exerciser don’t count water aerobics out! Discover the challenge of this water-based workout!
ZUMBA: The hottest fitness craze! This latin dance-based class with its hip-shaking moves and energy-filled beats will leave you wanting more. You’ll have so much fun you won’t even realize you are exercising……How can you afford to miss a class. (No prior dance experience needed.)
BOSU: You’ve seen those blue half-balls with a platform….now learn how to use them. A challenging balance and agility workout. Combine with FLEX or Sport Conditioning and you have a one-of-a-kind workout you won’t want to miss a class!
CrossFLEX: This is a high-intensity metabolic workout that is all about RESULTS! Learn proper form, increase functional strength and improve flexibility. Watch your body become LEANER and STRONGER. PILATES Hard Core: This Pilates-based workout is all about the CORE! Strengthen those supporting muscles (back, pelvis, and abdominals) with a variety of body-weighted and equipment-based exercises. This is no ordinary ab workout. This class goes way beyond sit-ups to chisel and shape the core into that six-pack you’ve been searching for!
