Green Spring Park is a 9.2 acre park located at approximately 1775 N. Green Spring Drive. It is located directly above the City owned Golf Course in a newly developed area in Washington City.
Active recreation elements include: two pickle ball courts, half basketball court, 1,500 sq. ft. water splash pad, large covered playground for children, and large open turf areas for informal play activities. Passive recreational elements include: a large pavilion, arbor, looped walking trail with decorative bridge, seating areas, picnic pads, and large garden areas utilizing colorful desert plants and large shade trees. This park is fully equipped with restroom facilities and drinking fountains.
The Green Spring Park is a great use of space. Five of the site's total 9.2 acres consist of a large detention basin. To enhance and beautify this large detention area, various colors and sizes of rock mulch were strategically placed. The remaining 4 acres of the park are programmed with a mixed use of passive and active recreational elements.
