Youth Council

2018 Graduation

The Washington City Youth council held their graduation Sunday night , May 13. They presented the mayor with a check for volunteer hours that equaled $50,000 if they were being paid. ($10.00 an hour times 5,000 hours of service). The following graduates received Washington City Scholarships. Miranda Sorensen, $1,500. Rachel prior $500 Andrew Stender $500. Katlyn Hardman received the Zachary Lusk scholarship for political Science for $1,500, from the Snow family. Their theme this year was the places you will go. This was a great group of youth that will be our future leaders some day. We are excited for the new Youth Council Members coming on board next year, they are : Grace Olsen Brooke Hall Joshua Hardman Emile Richards Mckenzi Welch Wizards Smith Emma Ward Carter Libby Jacob Sorensen Caleb Adam Cooper Despain The Washington City Youth Council will be starting their 9th year.
