Council Meeting

ALCOHOL LICENSE:

Red Robin and St Helens of Washington received approval of their On-Premise License from the City Council.

POWER BOARD:

Mayor Kenneth Neilson requested that they remove this item from the agenda needing more time to determine the member for recommendation. The City Council approved.

AGREEMENTS:

City Manager Roger Carter requested the consideration to approve a Resolution authorizing and approving the Carbon Free Power Project, Power Sales Contract with Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems; the initial Budget and plan of Finance for the project; and related matters. The City Council approved unanimously to table for three weeks.

RAP TAX DISTRIBUTION:

Executive Producer, Jamie Young requested the consideration to approve a request for a RAP Tax distribution to Brigham’s Playhouse. The City Council voted three to two to approve a rap tax distribution of $54,113.

Leisure Service Director Barry Blake requested the consideration to approve a request for a RAP Tax distribution for the Veterans Park. The City Council voted unanimously to approve the rap distribution of $139,500 with the amendment that the City Council be part of the design process.

FINAL PLATS:

John Graham, Warm Springs Development Corporation requested the Consideration to approve the final plat for Grace Villas, located on the northwest corner of Buena Vista Boulevard and Tortoise Rock Drive. The City Council approved unanimously.

Andy Bayola, Indian Knolls Subdivision requested the consideration to approve the Final Plat for Indian Knolls Subdivision Phase 3A, located at approximately Indian Springs Drive and Seminole Way. The City Council approved unanimously.

PUBLIC HEARINGS:

South Landing Development requested a Public Hearing for consideration to approve a Zone Change Z-18-01, amending a portion of the Stucki Farms PCD, by making changes to the Site Plan Map (Villages), amending street cross-sections as found in Exhibit E - Street Sections and Curbing, and updating the Zoning Comparison Chart.

The Public Hearing took place and a decision will be made in three weeks.

ORDINANCES:

Kendall Turner, RA Turner Family LC requested the consideration to approve an Ordinance approving a General Plan Amendment G-17-07, to the land use designation from High Density Residential, Medium Density Residential, and Low Density Residential (HD, MD, & LD) to Planned Unit Development - Commercial (PUD-C), located at approximately 600 North 1100 East. The City Council approved three to two.

FINANCE:

Administrator Service Manager Kimberly Ruesch presented the 2nd Quarter Budget Review.
