On Saturday, April 8 2017, nine very talented young women competed in the Miss Washington Princess Scholarship Pageant. The contestants were judged on; community achievement, presentation interview, lifestyle & fitness, artistic expression, poise & presence, and an onstage interview.

Washington City is proud to introduce: Miss Washington City: Brooke Hall, a student of Desert Hills Middle School and daughter of Jeff and Crystal Hall. 1st Attendant: Hannah Obray, a student of Pine View High School, and daughter of Jon and Hedi Obray. 2nd Attendant: Miranda Sorensen, is Homeschooled, and the daughter of Mark and Felisa Sorensen. Miss Congeniality: Kinlie VonCannon, a student of Pine View Middle School, and daughter of Ryan and Kim VonCannon. Look for these young women at all of our city events. A special thanks to the other contestants (Shayla Fordham, Madelyn Hardy, Shaylie Racker, Anna Rammel, and Genesis Valencia) for all their time and efforts in participating in the pageant.
