Thank You!

Washington City Arts Council (WCAC) wants to thank all of the community members and local artists who have participated in our spring 2021 events: In March we taught Watercolor and Photography Workshops as well as a Trash Art Workshop to help promote Mayor Neilson’s community clean-up effort. In April we had a Trash Art Show exhibiting art pieces that were created from trash that was picked up around town and Mayor Neilson awarded cash prizes. We also hosted a Bio Writing & Headshot Workshop for local artists. We finished off our spring events in May with a booth at Cotton Days and our culminating event was the Art Gala where we introduced 16 local artists and their work to the Washington community.  We are grateful for the warm welcome and excitement about the ARTS we have received from the Washington community. We will be offering more workshops and creating art exhibitions starting in the fall, so please follow us on Facebook or Instagram @wcacut to stay informed.
