Council Meeting

October 23rd, 2019

City Manager Roger Carter was excused.

1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA

The Washington City Council approved the agenda unanimously.

2. ANNOUNCEMENTS

Mayor Neilson reminded the community of the DJ Lex Spooktackular Event being held at the Washington City Community Center on October 28th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

3. DECLARATION OF ABSTENTIONS & CONFLICTS

None were declared.

4. CONSENT AGENDA        

The Washington City Council approved the consent agenda as detailed below unanimously.

a. APPROVAL OF MINUTES. Consideration to approve the minutes from the City Council Meetings of 10/08/19 and 10/09/19.

5. PROCLAMATION

Proclamation in an effort to increase awareness, declaring October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  Dove Center

6. PRELIMINARY PLAT

a. Consideration to approve the Preliminary Plat for Crimson Park Townhomes subdivision, located approximately east of Medallion Drive and south of Treasure Valley Road.  Applicant:  Development Solutions Group, Steve Kamlowsky. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.

7. PUBLIC HEARINGS

The following Public Hearing took place.

Public Hearing for consideration of granting a Donation to the Five County Association of Governments,  Senior Corp programs for the Senior Companion and Foster Grandparent Programs.   Applicant: Program Coordinator Joanne Lyman.

Consideration to approve a Donation to the Five County Senior Corp program.

Public Hearing for consideration to approve an amendment to the City Code Title 9 Zoning Regulations, Chapter 10 “Subdivision Regulations”.  Applicant: Washington City.

8. ORDINANCES

a. Consideration to approve an Ordinance adopting the Parks & Recreation Master Plan.   Leisure Service Director Barry Blake . The Washington City Council approved unanimously.

9. RESOLUTION

Consideration to approve a Resolution adopting the Impact Fee for Parks & Recreation.   Leisure Service Director Barry Blake. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.

10. PUBLIC WORKS

Discussion and review of the Main Street Project.  Public Works Director Mike Shaw.

11. REPORT OF OFFICERS FROM ASSIGNED COMMITTEE
