Keep The Holidays Safe & Great

As the Holiday Season is upon us, we would like to take a moment to share some reminders to help make your Holidays, great this year. Remember to avoid creating situations where you can become a victim, put valuables out of sight and make sure your vehicle is locked. If you are shopping when it’s dark outside park in well lit areas and place purchased items in your trunk if you are going from store to store shopping. Keep your home locked and the lights on around your home after dark. Try to keep valuables, gifts, and other items in areas that are not visible from outside your home through a window. If you’re having deliveries made to your house try and have someone there to receive them so they are not left on the porch. If you are not able to be there, see if a neighbor will watch for the package and keep it until you return home. If you are buying and selling goods that require you to meet for an exchange please utilize our Community Safe Zone. There is a location in front of the Police Station that has been marked by signage as a safe zone. It is both far south parking stalls in our front parking lot. The area will be monitored by camera and recorded. Always remember that if you have questions or concerns please contact us. We like to err on the side of caution. Our daytime office phone number is 986-1515 and Dispatch phone number is 634-5730. We wish you a Happy Holiday Season. Thanks to all of our citizens for all you do each day to help maintain the Quality of Life we all enjoy.
