Council Meeting

SPECIAL EVENT:

Melissa Miller requested a Special Event for “Girls on the Run Southern Utah”, to be held 5/19/18 and 12/8/18 at the Sullivan Virgin River Soccer Park. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.

PRELIMINARY PLAT AMENDED AND EXTENDED:

 Brennan Holding No 100, LLC requested an amended and Extended to Arroyo at Sienna Hills, located at approximately Grapevine Crossing and Sandy Talus Drive. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.

FINAL PLATS:

SS Phase 4 Inc. requested approval of Final Plat for Scenic Sunrise Phase 4, located at approximately 1650 S. Sandhill Drive. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.

Jack Fisher Homes requested approval of the Final Plat for Brio - Phase 2B, located at approximately Rialto Parkway and Via Del Sol. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.

CW the Eighth at Coral Canyon requested approval of the Final Plat for The Eighth at Coral Canyon, located at  approximately SR9 Off Ramp and Coral Canyon Boulevard. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.

Stephen Howcroft requested approval of the Final Plat for Brookwood, located at  approximately 900 North 600 West. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.

AMENDMENT - PLAT CONDITIONS:

Jay Rice, JAR Dev Co. requested a consideration to allow a temporary lift on subdivision approval  condition #11 Warner Gateway Phase 2, “Only thirty (30) lots will be able to apply for final plat status and be recorded, until the time that alternative ingress/egress roads are made available through development to either the north or the south boundary lines of the subdivision”.  The Washington City Council voted to deny unanimously.

ORDINANCES:

Doug Dennett requested a General Plan Amendment G-18-01, to change land use designation from (OS) Open Space to (LD) Low Density Residential, located at approximately 1100 East 3400 South. The Washington City Council approved the Ordinance unanimously.

SETBACK RELIEF:

Jose Gutierrez requested relief of a side-yard setback, located at 1874 S. Camino Real. The Washington City Council approved unanimously with conditions.

BID AWARDS:

Public Works Director Mike Shaw recommended to award the bid for the 2018 Slurry Seal.

The Washington City Council voted unanimously to award the bid to Intermountain Slurry Seal for $342,696.
