Burn Permit

Spring burn season is March 1 to May 30. Burn permit information can be found online at WashingtonCity.org/burn. Click on “Burn Permit Information” to access the application. Burn permits are issued depending upon air quality or weather conditions and may be revoked at any time. General burn permit rules are; no burning of trash, residents need to have a water supply nearby, the fire must be attended and if the wind picks up, the fire needs to be extinguished. If citizens don’t have access to the Internet, they can call Station 61 at (435) 673-4788 for more information or assistance in obtaining a burn permit.
