Citizens of the community are invited to participate in the Washington City Lions Club Adopt-A-Highway project on Saturday, March 27. The Lions have accepted the responsibility of keeping the Washington Parkway cleared of litter from I-15 exit 13 to Main Street. Scouts from the Lions-sponsored Troop #435 will also be assisting and families are most welcome. Meet on the north side of Exit 13 at 9 a.m.

The Washington City Lions Club is also planning on hosting the annual Easter Candy Dash. All children are welcome to attend. This event starts promptly at 10am. So be there before or risk missing out. It will take place Saturday morning, April 3rd, 2021, 10 A.M. at the Veterans Park, 100 E. Telegraph St.
