Be The Best That You Can Be

Whoever this Father Time character is, we need to tell him to slow things down. I am still trying to get my mind around 2018. Oh well, one great thing we can all count on in life is time continues to march forward. May I offer a thought for you about how important you are in this whole wonderful adventure we are experiencing called life. I can tell you that what you think of yourself is much more important that what people think of you. There is only one you on this earth. Be the best you that you can be. Some of the lessons we learn in life do not come easy. I have learned the hard way that I cannot always count on others to respect my feelings, even if I respect others. Being a good person doesn’t guarantee that others will be good people too. You only have control over yourself and how you choose to be as a person. As for others, you can only choose to accept them or choose to walk away. Let’s make decency cool again. Making a difference is always in style.
