ANNOUNCEMENTS:

On the 24th of July there will be a Celebration at Veterans Park put on by the community. There will be a Lion’s club breakfast at 7am, a Parade down Telegraph at 9am, fun booths and activities in the park, and a firework show scheduled at the Softball Complex if weather permits. CONSENT AGENDA:      

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

Consideration to approve the minutes from the City Council Meetings of 6/27/18.

The Washington City Council tabled for later.

BOARD AUDIT REPORT:  

Consideration to approve the Board Audit Report from June 2018. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.

GOLF COURSE FEE:  

Consideration to approve the increase in fee for Green Spring Golf Course. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.

PLANNING COMMISSION APPOINTMENT:

Consideration to confirm the appointment of a member to the Planning Commission. This was tabled for two weeks.

RAP TAX:

Consideration to distribute RAP Tax funds:

PRELIMINARY PLAT:

Consideration to approve the Preliminary Plat for Vineyard Cove at Stucki Farms, located at approximately Washington Fields Road and Groves Parkway.  Applicant:  South Landing Development, Karl Larson. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.

Consideration to approve the Preliminary Plat for Ammerswil Estates, located approximately 535 West 2500 South.  Applicant Mike Staheli. The Washington City Council approved unanimously with conditions.

PUBLIC HEARINGS:

The Public Hearing took place, a decision will be made in two weeks.

Public Hearing for consideration to approve a Zone Change request Z-18-11 from Planned Unit Development (PUD)  to Planned Unit Development Residential (PUD-R), located approximately 900 East 200 South.  Applicant: SJ Property Holding LLC

ORDINANCES:

Consideration to approve an Ordinance granting Zone Change request Z-18-10 to amend a portion of the Stucki Farms PCD by making changes to the Specific Site Plan Map, and updating the Zoning Comparison Chart.  Applicant:  South Landing Development, Karl Larson. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.

RESOLUTION:

Consideration to approve a Resolution amending the Master Fee Schedule to reflect the the recently approved St. George Wastewater Treatment Fee. Public Works Director Mike Shaw. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.

AGREEMENTS:

Consideration to approve an agreement between the City of St. George and Washington City regarding the conveyance of a Washington City Sewer Outfall Line to the City of St. George Regional Wastewater Facility. Public Works Director Mike Shaw. The Washington City Council approved unanimously. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.

MOU:

Consideration to approve a Memorandum of Understanding between Washington County School District and Washington, for a School Resource Officer.  Police Chief Jim Keith. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.
