The Cost of Freedom Has Ever Been Sacrifice

I just enjoyed a wonderful Veterans Day Celebration. We had a fantastic parade, program, and luncheon to honor those who serve and have served our country. Thank you Veterans for keeping us safe so we can enjoy the freedoms that we have. We honor you. May I share part of a quote from the Veterans Tribute offered by Lt. Col Thomas Brown USAF. “When conflicts come, we prove ourselves--by where we stand. The cost of Freedom has ever been sacrifice. What are we willing to offer? A hero is simply one who is willing to serve, to offer self to save, to put the love of others first. Countless men and women have laid down their lives that we may be safe at home, secure with our little ones. They have personally given all.” We shouldn’t mourn for those who have given their very lives for the cause of Freedom. Rather, we should thank God that such people lived. No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted......

Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant.
