Mayor’s Message

No Act of Kindness, No Matter How Small It May Seem, Is Wasted

There has been no greater anticipation to the next year as I think this year has been.

This truly has been a very different year hasn’t it?  I have found that there is no better exercise for us than finding ways to lift others up. No act of kindness, no matter how small it may seem, is wasted. Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, a kind compliment, or the smallest act of caring. All of which has the potential of turning someone’s life completely around.

Courage, Kindness, Friendship, Character. These are the  qualities that define us  as human beings, and propel, us quite often, to greatness.

I do find it quite fascinating that through our journey’s in life we all start in different places, but our paths cross with others so that we have countless opportunities to show compassion, love, our observations, and our hopes for better things in the future.

I believe this is the intent and design from God that we can experience, appreciate, and cherish.

May your new year be full of hope, helping and healing.........
