Washington City, in cooperation with the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), is in the process of conducting an environmental study (Categorical Exclusion) to evaluate the potential environmental impacts associated with extending Washington Parkway from I-15 Exit 13 to the north end of Green Springs Drive.
Washington City encourages area residents and businesses to attend a public hearing (open house format) for the proposed roadway improvements on Thursday, January 31, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Washington City Offices, 111 North 100 East.
The public hearing will include informational display boards, project information handouts, and an open microphone for stakeholders to publicly comment on the project. The meeting room meets the accessibility requirements outlined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Comments must be received or postmarked between January 31, 2019, and February 10, 2019.
