Come and enjoy a delicious breakfast of Ham, Eggs and Pancakes in the Veterans Park from 7 AM - 10:00 AM on Saturday morning prepared by our own Washington Utah Lions Club. Funds raised are to help Washington City community service projects, scholarships, and sight programs. Accepting Cash Only. Our Mayor Kress Staheli may even serve you personally!
The 2022 Cotton Days 5k is a family fun run down the Virgin River Trail starting at Sullivan Soccer Park. Registration fees: $25 for the first family member, $15 for each additional family member (up to 6 people). Cotton Days 5k shirt Pickup is 6 AM - 7 AM at the starting line. Free breakfast vouchers will be given to all participants at the finish line. *Free Pancake breakfast & T-shirt for all participants (no medals). The parade lineup is from 7:30-8:30 am, Saturday, April 30th. The parade will start promptly at 9 am. Lineup instructions, map, and entry number will be emailed prior to the date of the event. Line up will take place on 300 E. Prizes for Mayor’s Choice Award and Best Themed Award. Download Parade Map
Celebrate the heritage of Washington City with hands-on demonstrations of cotton carding, spinning, weaving, and quilting! There will be displays of antique quilts and weavings along with a Heritage Art Show by local artists (with art for sale), historical antiques, and information about Washington's history. This event is a collaboration with the Washington City Historical Society, Washington City Arts Council, Dixie Quilt Guild, and Southern Utah Weavers.
Come celebrate Washington City’s Birthday. Traditions such as the Parade, 5K Run, and of course the Cotton Fest held at Veterans Park. Festivities include live entertainment/dance performances, vendor booths, games, bounce houses, heritage show, and a tractor pull.
