NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR BIDS

Sealed bids will be received by Washington City for:

WASHINGTON CITY

MAIN STREET SUBSTATION

69 KV GROUP OPERATED AIRBREAK SWITCHES

The Bids will be for the furnishing of six (6) 69 kV Center Side break V Type Switches (Manually Operated).  The switches are to be installed in Washington City’s Main Street Substation. Bids will be in accordance with the Specification Documents prepared by Intermountain Consumer Professional Engineers, Inc. (“ICPE”), (hereinafter referred to as “Engineer”).

Sealed proposals are to be delivered to:  111 North 100 East, Washington City, UT 84780, before 3:00 pm on July 14, 2022.  Bids will be privately opened and evaluated. Purchaser shall enter into only one contract for the equipment to be provided under this specification.

The project schedule is as follows:

 Bid due date: July 14, 2022

The 69kV Group Operated Airbreak Switches are to be delivered to the Purchaser on or before:

November 15, 2022, or as agreed

Purchaser shall enter into only one contract for the 69 kV Group Operated Airbreak Switches.

Washington City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the Washington City.

Instructions, specifications, and proposal blanks will be on file in the office of Intermountain Consumer Professional Engineers, Inc., ("Engineer") 1145 East South Union Avenue, Midvale, UT 84047, where they may be consulted or secured for the purpose of bidding.
