Due to the increase of solar installations and changes in our solar standards. Washington City Power will be holding a Zoom meeting with all solar companies wanting to do business in the Washington City boundaries. These boundaries include both Washington City Power and Dixie Power areas.
In this class we will go over rates, solar standards, inspections, sales, workmanship in addition to other things. People requested to attend are the Solar Company Installation manager, Company Representative (someone with decision making authority) and Sales Manager. This class is required in order for you to pull a building permit in the Washington City boundaries.
Upon completion of the meeting you will be required to sign an agreement. This agreement will be a contract between your solar company and the City of Washington that you will follow our solar standards and understand our rates policies. Upon completion of the solar class your company will be added to our Approved Solar contractor list, allowing you to continue business in Washington City. If the your company has not completed the class by July 1, 2023, you will be unable to sale, solicit and apply for building permits and inspections. This includes permits that have already been issued.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a time for your class.
