PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Notice is being given that the Washington City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 6:00 p.m., or shortly thereafter, for the purpose of consideration of a Boundary Line Adjustment. Washington City Council has adopted Resolution R2021-12 declaring the intent to adjust the common municipal boundary line between the City of St. George and Washington City. The proposed adjustment is located at approximately 4430 S. Crimson Way. The adjusted area contains approximately 0.40 acres. It is proposed that the adjusted property would be moved from Washington City and the same property would be added to the City of St. George. The property owner is Desert Investment Group, LLC.
The Washington City Council will adjust the boundaries unless, at or before the public hearing received a written protest to the adjustment is filed by:
The subject area of the boundary adjustment will be automatically annexed to local fire protection, paramedic, and emergency services or law enforcement services as the case may be.
Public comment for this topic may be submitted through the “Items Available for Public Comment” portal at https://washingtoncity.org/meetings or emailed to recorder@washingtoncity.org. The public comment portal opens the Friday before the meeting and is available until 5:00 pm on the day preceding the meeting. Virtual
