PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given for:

REQUEST FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids for the construction of The Boilers Park Project will be received by Washington City, at the office of the Leisure Services Dept., 350 N. Community Center Dr., Washington City, UT 84780, until 1:30 PM local time on December 11, 2019, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.  

The Boilers Park project will consist of the construction of a new park near the intersection of Buena Vista Boulevard and Millcreek Springs Drive. The project will include construction of four post-tensioned pickleball courts, a playground area, a pavilion, restroom facilities, a parking lot, and walkways. Upgrades will also be made to the existing onsite pond such as construction of a weir and gabion terraces. Other related improvements will be done including drainage improvements, rock walls, landscaping, irrigation, electrical, and lighting.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract.  Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.

Bidding Documents may be examined online at www.sunrise-eng.com; or at the office of the Engineer, Sunrise Engineering, Inc. 11 North 300 West, Washington, Utah 84780, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM local time on December 5, 2019 at the project site located near the intersection of Buena Vista Boulevard and Millcreek Springs Drive.  Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
