The Washington City Arts Council would like to thank all those who attended our “Artists of Washington” art exhibition at the Red Cliff Gallery in St. George last month. It was a huge success, with a fantastic variety of beautiful fine art from over 20 artists living right here in Washington City. We appreciate the community support for our local artists! We are also grateful for local artists who have taught some excellent classes to the community: Stacy Schimbeck enlightened us on Acrylic Painting basics and techniques • Craig Fetzer shared his Oil Painting skills in a three-day seminar • and Tina Stergios provided a fun introduction to Origami for the Holidays. We were also honored to hear from legendary bronze sculptor Jerry Anderson about the stories behind some of his most famous local sculptures.
