Community Project Help Needed

Interested in helping with a community project for an evening? The Washington City Lions Club will be cleaning and sorting donated glasses Thursday, May 12, at 6 p.m. Join us at the Historic Relief Society Hall, 75 W. Telegraph, assist with our project and enjoy a barbecue. Call Mike Harless (435) 429-3235 for additional information. Many thanks to those who helped with other Lions Club projects. Lin’s Fresh Market supported the annual Candy Grab in April. Community and Lions members completed the spring’s Adopt-A- Road cleanup along the Northern Parkway and frontage road. Numerous community members supported the Lions Cotton Days Breakfast. Make your plans to enjoy the Independence Day Breakfast on Saturday, July 2! Club members will soon be seeking donations of goods and services for the fund-raising auction that follows that breakfast.
