Dixie State University: Little Free Libraries

Dixie State University’s chapter of Sigma Tau Delta (the International English Honor Society) is excited to share their love of literacy and stories with the residents of Washington City. The students of Sigma Tau Delta are in charge of the promotion, care, and maintenance of three community Little Free Libraries in the St. George area, which are stocked with books for the use and exploration of our community’s children and adults. These Little Free Libraries can be found in Nisson Park here in Washington City, as well as the Firehouse Park in Dixie Downs and the Vernon Worthen Park in downtown St. George. Sigma Tau Delta at Dixie State is excited to inspire and foster a love of reading in people of all ages by providing these Little Free Libraries to neighborhoods and communities in the St. George area. Each library is registered with the national Little Free Library organization and can be found on the worldwide map on their website: littlefreelibrary.org. Take a book. Share a book. This is our motto, and we welcome books for all ages and on all topics of interest. So drop by to discover what surprises our Little Free Libraries have in store for you and all the readers in your lives from the smallest reader to the most mature reader!
