A primary residence in Washington City with a home value of $300,000 will pay $1,547 in property tax but Washington City’s portion of your property tax is only $190 or $15.80 a month. Property tax accounts for 15% of the General Fund revenue and helps pay for essential services that contribute to our quality of life such as police, fire, parks, and recreation.
