Best of State

The Washington City Parks & Recreation Division was recently presented with two prestigious awards at a formal “Best of State” Utah 2022 Dinner and Gala at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City, Utah.  For the eleventh consecutive year, the Washington City Community Center was recognized as the winner in the category of Public Fitness/Recreation Facility.  This is quite an accomplishment and a real compliment to our dedicated employees that strive to provide the highest quality services to our community members on a daily basis.  Additionally, the Washington City Parks Division received this award for the construction and design of the beautiful Boiler’s Park in the same category.  Our city’s Parks Division employees work diligently each day to ensure a positive experience at all city owned parks throughout the year.  Congratulations to the Parks & Recreation Division for this recognition!
