July 24th 2019 Pioneer Day Information

Come enjoy Pioneer Day on July 24th. There will be a parade down Telegraph Street at 8:30 am in the morning followed by food booths, children’s races, and breakfast at Veterans Park. After the morning fun head over to the W.C.C.C. Softball Complex that evening for a fireworks display.

Parade Entrants are needed. Parade Entry Applications must be emailed no later than July 14 ,2019 to events@washingtoncity.org. Entry applications will be rejected if the Parade Committee, in its sole discretion and judgment, determines an entry to be political, controversial, unlawful or otherwise inconsistent with the standards, theme or purpose of the Parade. Examples of unacceptable entries include, but are not limited to, the following: advocacy by political parties or candidates for public office, advocacy for legislative or other public policy initiatives, subject matters relating to sexuality, including polygamy and abortion, controversial religious matters and gun rights. Entrants will line up at 8:00 am (beginning at the intersection of Community Center Drive and 300 East and going north).
