Department of The Year

Washington City Maintenance / Custodial Department provides maintenance and custodial services to eight City owned buildings, over 20 restrooms, the splash pads, and water features throughout Washington City on a daily basis. The department serves every department throughout Washington City. They were particularly instrumental during the COVID-19 pandemic in transitioning many of the fixtures, and building entrances throughout the city to be touchless along with countless other projects. The quality of the leadership, and staff in this department is demonstrated daily by the many compliments received from the general public who recognize the cleanliness and good repair of all the city facilities. Washington City recognizes our Maintenance / Custodial Department as our 2021 department of the year.
