Veterans Day

Washington City's leadership and staff cordially invite the community to join us for the Veterans Day Celebration. Let's come together to honor and support our community's Veterans for their dedicated service to this great nation, echoing the words of Francis Scott Key: "the land of the free and the home of the brave." The celebration will include a parade down Telegraph Street, followed by a short program.

We extend a warm invitation to all Veterans who wish to be part of the parade. Please arrive between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM at the parking lot in front of the old Nisson's Grocery store, located at the corner of Main Street and Telegraph Street. There, you can board shuttle wagons and join the parade at 11 AM. Your participation will be greatly appreciated! The Facebook event can be found by clicking here.
