Mayor’s Message

Celebrate All That Is Good In The World

This holiday season will certainly be a different one for all of us. Perhaps this is the year we spend less time worrying about the perfect gift, and spend more quality time with those who mean so much to you; family, friends, and neighbors.

May we all count our many blessings and be thankful for all we have been given. May I offer this thought as we celebrate all that is good in this world. “Be thankful that you don’t already have what you have desired. If you did, what would there be to look forward to? Be thankful when you don’t know something, for it gives you the opportunity to learn. Be thankful for the difficult times. For it is during those times that you grow the most.  Be thankful for your limitations, because they give you opportunities for improvement. Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons. Be thankful when you are tired and weary, for that means you are making a difference. It’s easy to be thankful for the good things. A life of rich fulfillment come to those who are also thankful for the setbacks.  Find a way to be thankful for your troubles, and they can become your blessings.”

There are people that only you can help and be of influence.

Be that influence and make that difference…………………….
