The Washington City Youth Council has been hard at work this year, and will make another appearance in the Cotton Days Parade, and Cotton Fest to run the children’s area!  As this 12th year of the Washington City Youth Council winds down the entire council would like to thank the many people that helped along the way including Mayors Ken Nielson and Kress Staheli, City Councilmen Kurt Ivie and Ben Martinsen, everyone that has helped us with all of our events, and most importantly our advisor Carmen Snow. The Youth Council could not exist without any one of the people that volunteered countless hours to run city-wide events and the entire group would like to say a heartfelt thank you. There will be a graduation this month to celebrate the seniors leaving the WCYC as well as to welcome the incoming group of members!
