1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA             

The Washington City Council approved the agenda unanimously.

2. ANNOUNCEMENTS

Mayor Kenneth Neilson reminded everyone of the Drive in Movie will be held at Staheli Family Farms in order to accommodate more cars.  You may begin arriving around 7:00 P.M.  Bring your own treats and stay in the car.  This event will be free for those attending.

3. DECLARATION OF ABSTENTIONS & CONFLICTS

Council Member Staheli stated he will be abstaining from Item 5a.

4. CONSENT AGENDA

The Washington City Council approved the consent agenda as detailed below unanimously.

a. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:  Consideration to approve the minutes from the City Council Meetings of  02/26/20.

b. FINAL PLAT:

1. Consideration to approve the Final Plat for The Views at Coral Canyon Phase 3 located at approximately 2180 East 220 North, Highland Parkway.  Applicant is Cole West, Reed Scow.

c. SPECIAL EVENT:  Consideration to approve a Special Event for the Drive In Movie, to be located at Staheli Farm on April 24th.

5. PUBLIC HEARING

The following Public Hearings took place and a decision will be made in two weeks.

a. Continuation of Public Hearing for consideration to approve a Zone Change request Z-20-02 to change from (OS) Open Space to (PUD-C) Planned Unit Development - Commercial, located at approximately 3650 South 1320 East.  Applicant: Doug Dennett.

b. 2. Public Hearing for consideration to approve Zone Change request Z-20-04, a request from Open Space (OS) to Residential Single Family 10,000 sq. ft. lots minimum (R-1-10), located east of Washington Vista Phase 3A & 3B.  Applicant: First Nation Investments LLC.

c. 3. Public Hearing for consideration to approve a General Plan Amendment request G-20-03, a request to change the Land Use Designation from Low Density (LD) and Open Space (OS) to Medium Density (MD) and Planned Unit Development Residential (PUD-R), located at approximately 4300 South 700 East.   Applicant: Bob Hermandson.

6. PRELIMINARY PLAT

a. Consideration to approve the Preliminary Plat for Brio Phases 4C & 4D, located approximately between Rialto Parkway and Gem Stone Way.  Applicant: Reed Scow. The Washington City Council approved unanimously with conditions.

7. FUNDING

a. Review of the Greater Together Fund.  Economic Development Director Matt Loo.

Economic Development Director Matt Loo reviewed the Greater Together Funding.  There have been a Total of 75 applications.  35 businesses have been granted funding, with a total of $492,500 already committed.  There have been 6 Washington City businesses that have applied for funding, with 3 of those businesses receiving funding.  One business is still being reviewed and eligible for funding.  The total dollar amount awarded to Washington City businesses $47,000.

8. REPORT OF OFFICERS FROM ASSIGNED COMMITTEE

Council reported on their assigned committees.

9. CITY MANAGER REPORT

City Manager Carter updated the Council on current Washington City Projects.
