Calling All Artists!

The Washington City Arts Council, in conjunction with Mayor Neilson’s community clean-up initiative, is hosting a “Trash to Art Workshop” to show you how to create art from the trash you collect. The pieces will be judged in several categories—including a family art category—during a “Trash Art Show” to be held around Earth Day in April. The winners in each category will be awarded cash prizes. Watch for details coming soon on the Washington City and Washington City Art Council Facebook pages.
