This past month the Washington City Youth Council hosted the Washington City Fire and Police Appreciation Night  in Veterans Park to honor those that dedicate their lives to serving our community. Members of the community were able to go around and get to know the different departments as well as show their appreciation. This month the youth council will be helping the Lions Club with their Easter Egg Hunt for the twelfth year in a row! Please stop by Veterans Park on Saturday, April 16th at 10:00 AM for an Easter Egg Hunt as well as a chance to meet tons of fun characters, including the Easter Bunny!
