1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA             

The Washington City Council approved the agenda unanimously.

With the following roll call vote:

2. ANNOUNCEMENTS

Council Member Ivie noted “Broadway Bound” is having a grand opening on June 13th from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

Council Member Staheli announced this Friday 8:00 A.M. at  the Sullivan Park there will be a bike ride from Sullivan Park to SunRiver, The event  is called Ride the Missing Link.

Mayor Pro-Tem Cluff noted Mike's Barbershop in Washington City received national recognition as one of the best Barbershops.

Mayor Pro-Tem Cluff announced Friday, June 5th, we held the first ever Princess Pageant outdoors.  The COVID-19 virus restriction would not allow the pageant to be held in a building.  Due to the great brainstorming and planning of the Royalty Advisor Taylor Blake, we were able to have the first ever outdoor pageant in the Veterans Park.  With a limited number of audience attending, 8 girls braved the weather and performed outstandingly in the fields of: Personal Interviews, Talent, Poise & Presentation, and On Stage Questions.  We would like to introduce the 2020/2021

We want to thank all of the contestants for their hard work and the example they present as talented youth in our city.

Consideration to approve the minutes from the City Council Meetings of  5/27/2020.

Consideration to approve the Board Audit Report for May 2020.

c. LOCAL CONSENT:

Consideration to approve Local Consent for St. Helen's Restaurant, LLC  Applicant:  Mei Fong & Gary Fong

d. FINAL PLAT:

1. Consideration to approve the Final Plat for Desert Flower Phase 1, located approximately Bella Vista Drive and Telegraph Street.  Applicant:  Stephen Howcroft.

5. SUBDIVISION NAME CHANGE

a. Consideration of a Name Change approval of the Amended and Extended Preliminary Plat for the Homesteads at Stucki Farms to the Homesteads (phase 1-5) and Homestead Heights (Phase 1-3) Subdivisions at Stucki Farms, located at approximately 300 N. Rock Creek Drive.  Applicant:  South Landing LLC. The Washington City Council approved unanimously with conditions.

6. PUBLIC HEARING

The following Public Hearing took place.

a. Public Hearing for consideration to approve a Resolution to adopt the Washington City 2020/2021 Fiscal Year Budget for the funds of Washington City.  Administrative Services Director Kimberly Ruesch

7. RESOLUTIONS

a. Consideration to approve a Resolution 2020-08, adopting the Washington City 2020/2021 Fiscal Year Budget for the funds of Washington City.  Administrative Services Director Kimberly Ruesch. The Washington City Council approved unanimously adopting the Washington City 2020/2021 Fiscal Year Budget for the funds of Washington City in the amount of $76,737,165.

b. Consideration to approve a Resolution of Washington City Condemning Racism.  Councilman Staheli and Chief Williams. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.

8. QUIT CLAIM

a. Consideration to approve the Quit-Claim of Real Property involved in a lot line adjustment between Washington City and Mike Hall, located on the southwest corner of 300 East and Telegraph Street. Power Director Rick Hansen. The Washington City Council approved unanimously with councilman Coats abstaining.

9. ANNEXATION

a. Consideration to accept and move forward with an Annexation application for the “Enclave Annexation”, located at approximately 2855 South 240 West.  Applicant: Capital 5 LLC. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.

10. BOARD ADJUSTMENTS

a. Consideration to accept and move forward with an Annexation application for the “Enclave Annexation”, located at approximately 2855 South 240 West.  Applicant: Capital 5 LLC. The Washington City Council approved unanimously. The Washington City Council unanimously approved the appointment of members to the Board of Adjustment as recommended by Mayor Neilson Sam Barber, Rich Langer, Jake Haus, Brad Chandler, and Nick Whitney.
