A Life Saved, A Community United

During the Washington City Council meeting on February 12, 2025, we had the privilege of witnessing a special moment when an individual from our community was able to meet and express gratitude to those who saved his life. It was truly inspiring to hear the story of those who jumped into action to save the life of a father, husband, and friend. This is just one of many examples of how individuals in this community rise up to help and serve those around them. I feel fortunate to live in a community surrounded by so many good people who look out for one another. My family and I have lived in many cities across the nation, and of all the places we’ve called home, I am especially grateful to call Washington City home. I encourage everyone to watch the city council meeting to hear the full story. Thank you to all for making Washington City such a wonderful place to live.
