Graduation Leadership - The Big Piece of the Puzzle

During the graduation ceremony, outgoing WCYC Mayor Reese Carolyn Tanner took the podium to conduct and deliver their year-end report. It was a beautiful way to end the year on Mother’s Day, honoring the mothers and these amazing young graduates. Three-year graduate Reese Carolyn Tanner, two-year graduates Dayson Macdonald, Chrislyn Bassett, Rachel Rose West, and one-year graduates Benjamin Lynn Behunin, Kambria Bushnell, and Kalina Tucker. Those who received the Washington City Scholarships: Reese Carolyn Tanner, Benjamin Lynn Behunin, and Rachel Rose West. Dayson Macdonald was awarded The Zackary Lusk Political Science Scholarship from Stan and Carmen Snow. Mayor Kress Staheli received a check for WCYC volunteer hours of 5,380 @ $13.00 an hour, an in-kind amount of $69,940.00. They also left behind the Eric Dowdle Puzzle to the city... with no pieces left behind. The youth council will be beginning their 14th year; they were established in the year 2010 under Councilman Jeff Turek, Wendy Bulkley, and Carmen Snow. Carmen will be volunteering as advisor for her 14th year.
