Lions Serve Through Any Challenge

Ever since Helen Keller inspired us to champion the cause in 1925, the Lions Club has served and advocated for the blind and visually impaired. Nearly a century later this long-standing mission continues unhindered, even though current conditions encourage us to be creative. The Washington City Lions Club is planning and hoping health restrictions will soon be eased and our traditional annual events can be held in 2021. Watch for updates on the following:

Easter Candy Dash for kids—early in April

Cotton Days—end of April

The 4th of July & Pioneer Day July 24

Awarding the Lions Club Scholarships this year will go forward. These scholarships provide financial assistance for local students to attend Dixie State University. Information about the application process will be posted in the March issue of the Washington City News.
