Keep Your Electrical Meter Accessible

The Power Department would like to remind you that your electric meter should always be accessible, not behind a locked gate, and have a clear working space around it.  Garbage cans, storage containers, and other debris should not be stored in front of the meter.  The working space shall be clear and unobstructed from the ground to a height of 6.5 feet, as well as 36” in front and to the sides of the panel.
