BluCan Residential Recycling Opt-Out Period

Beginning Tuesday, September 1, 2020  and continuing through Monday, November 30, 2020, there will be an open opt-out period for all customers who desire NOT to participate in the recycling program.  If you decide to opt-out during this period the recycling program charges will be removed from your billing starting February 1, 2021.

Your opt-out must be submitted online or in-person using an official opt-out form. This record will be attached to your utility account. You can obtain a printed opt-out form from the utility office or fill out the online version at WashingtonCity.org/utilities during the time period of September 1, 2020 - November 30, 2020, by 5:00 pm.

No Opt-out forms will be accepted after November 30, 2020, at 5:00 pm.

If you have already opted-out of the recycling program during the previous opt-out period in 2015 you DO NOT need to opt-out again.
