The Annual Children’s Candy Dash will start at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, at Veteran’s Park! All children ages 12 and younger are invited to be part of the fun.  The Lions Club Cotton Days breakfast will begin at 7 a.m. Saturday, April 30! Start the day with a delicious breakfast, help raise funds for community projects, scholarships, and sight programs. Cost is $5 a person; $20 a family (Cash Only). THERE IS STILL TIME TO APPLY!!! High school seniors and continuing or prospective University students who live in Washington are eligible to apply for the Washington City Lions Club $1,000 scholarship for the 2022-23 academic year at Dixie State/Utah Tech! Applications are available at the Financial Aid and Scholarship office in the Holland Building on the DSU campus and online financialaid.dixie.edu/scholarships/community-scholarships. Required items must be received by April 30, 2022, and can be submitted in person or mailed to:  DSU Scholarship Office, Holland Centennial Commons, 225 South University Ave., St. George, UT 84770. Interested in being part of the Washington City Lions Club and serving the community? The Lions Club meets the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Historic Relief Society Hall, 75 W.
