Washington City Lions Club

We Serve To Help & We Need You

Citizens of the community are invited to participate in the Washington City Lions Club Adopt-A-Highway project on Saturday, November 7. The Lions are proud of their community, and so have accepted the task of keeping the Washington Parkway cleared of litter from I-15 exit 13 to Main Street. This will be a reoccurring effort in fall and spring. Scouts from the Lions-sponsored Troop #435 will also be assisting. As another service the Lions Club will be involved in the Veterans Day celebration Wednesday, November 11 as the community honors those who have served our nation.

The Lions will be participating in the parade and lunch for veterans plus other activities of that day. Donations are being sought for Scout Troop #435 that the Lions sponsor. Also people with scouting experience who have both the interest and desire to work with the troop and pack are needed to fill leadership and committee positions. Call Rick Henrie (801) 361-1651 for information on becoming part of the Lions Club and supporting service projects.
