What’s New In The Department

The Washington City Fire Department is happy to answer a few questions about what is new within the department.

Q: How many apparatus does the FD have?

A: The department is excited to announce that the city has recently added a ladder truck to the joint station with Hurricane Fire. With the rapid community growth and apartment complexes being added, it is important that the FD has the necessary equipment to handle all emergencies including high-rise fires and rescue.
