APPROVAL OF AGENDA:
The Washington City Council approved the agenda unanimously.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Declaration of a “Drug Free” Washington City Youth Council. The Washington City Youth Council declared October drug free month.
DECLARATION OF ABSTENTIONS & CONFLICTS:
Councilman Troy Belliston on Item 5a (Road Dedication), while having no financial ties to the project he is presenting it for a family friend and will abstain from voting.
CONSENT AGENDA:
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Consideration to approve the minutes from the City Council Meetings of 8/21/18 and 8/22/18. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.
BOARD AUDIT REPORT:
Consideration to approve the Board Audit Report for August 2018. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.
FINAL PLATS:
Consideration to approve the Final Plat for Shooting Star Phase 1 Subdivision, located approximately at 1300 East 1800 South. Applicant: Western States Ventures SG, LLC. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.
Consideration to approve the Final Plat for Sugar Plum in The Fields Phase 5, located at approximately 4040 South 1035 East. Applicant: Troy Ence. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.
Consideration to approve the Final Plat for Brio Phase 4B, located at approximately White Pearl Drive and Gemstone Way. Applicant: Jack Fisher Homes. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.
ROAD DEDICATION:
Consideration to approve the Primavera Lane Road Dedication Plat, located approximately 890 W. Buena Vista Boulevard. Applicant: Troy Belliston. The Washington City Council approved unanimously with conditions requiring improvements to be performed by developers as lots are developed.
PUBLIC HEARING:
The following public hearing took place and a decision will be made in two weeks.
Public Hearing for consideration to amend a portion of the Washington City Code, Section 9-14-22 for the purpose of adding “Additional Height Waiver” amending who approves additional building height request. Applicant: Washington City.
ORDINANCES & RESOLUTIONS:
Consideration to approve an Ordinance, granting Zone Change request Z-18-12, by amend the PUD for Villas at Green Springs, located at the north end of Green Spring Drive. Applicant: Brennan Holdings No. 100 LLC, Jim Raines. The Washington City Council approved 4 to 1.
Consideration to approve an Ordinance, granting Zone Change request Z-18-13, to change zoning designation from A-20 (Agricultural 20-acre lots) to R-1-8 (Single Family Residential 8,000 sq. ft. lots) zone, located approximately 4100 South 800 East. Applicant: Development Solutions Group. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.
Consideration to approve a Resolution, amending the Master Fee Schedule to reflect changes in costs in the Washington City Cemetery. Leisure Services Director Barry Blake. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.
Consideration to approve Ordinance, Approving/Ratifying Ordinance 2018-11 the extending the corporate limits of Washington City to include the annexation of a parcel of real property located at approximately 240 West 3090 South, and amending the Washington City Zoning Map to zone and designate this area as R-1-10 upon its annexation to Washington City. City Recorder Danice Bulloch. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.
TRANSPORTATION:
Consideration to approve an amendment to the Transportation Master Plan Map. Public Works Director Mike Shaw. The Washington City Council approved unanimously.
