July will be the month to honor our country, our veterans, our troops, and our pioneer ancestors! Washington City Lions Club is proud to be part of these celebrations and, in turn, be able to support community events and services. Thank you for supporting the Cotton Days breakfast in May, our get- back-to-normal and warm up for the BIG July activities. Start your 4th of July celebration early on Saturday, July 3rd!!! Enjoy a delicious breakfast PLUS lunch, an exciting auction, delicious homemade pies, good family fun, races and activities Saturday morning starting at 7 a.m.—all at Veterans Park. If you or your business has goods or services to donate to the auction, please contact a Lions Club member or Rick Henrie (801-361-1651). Cash only for the breakfast, lunch and pies but we’ll gladly take a check for auction items purchased. Another opportunity is coming on Saturday, July 24th , for more good food and much fun. These are only some of the things the Lions Club does to serve Washington City. Join us. New members are always welcome!!
