A Successful Flood Season

I have proudly served on the Washington City Council for four years. One of my key responsibilities has been my appointment to the Flood Control Authority. Each year, we diligently prepare for the upcoming flood season, and now, as we transition into fall, I am pleased to report our success this year. We always approach the flood season with a sense of unease, fearing potential damage from floodwaters. Fortunately, this year, we experienced minimal damage and were able to promptly address those affected areas. As we enter the autumn months, I want to emphasize the importance of safety. Please take the necessary precautions and enjoy the upcoming fall season.
