Small Adjustments Can Save

As the temperatures rise so does our daily energy use.  Many people use energy without considering the impact it has on the environment or their electricity bill.  Just the small act of turning off a light or raising your thermostat a few degrees can make an impact.  Here are a few ways you can can save energy: 1) Avoid using energy-intensive appliances like your dryer or dishwasher during the heat of the day.  2) Use a ceiling fan with your A/C to help circulate the air and make it feel cooler while you are home.  3) Set your thermostat to automatically raise the temperature a few degrees at times when you are away.  With a few simple energy-saving efforts you can still keep the temperature and your budget within your comfort zone.
