Council Meeting
April 10th, 2019
1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA:
The Washington City Council Approved the agenda unanimously.
2. ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Mayor reminded the community to get ready for Cotton Days.
3. DECLARATION OF ABSTENTIONS & CONFLICTS:
None were declared.
4. CONSENT AGENDA:
The Washington City Council approved the consent agenda as detailed below unanimously.
a. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Consideration to approve the minutes from the City Council Meetings of 3/26/19 and 3/27/19.
b. BOARD AUDIT REPORT:
Consideration to approve the Board Audit Report for March 2019.
c. SPECIAL EVENTS:
i. Consideration to approve a Special Event for “Ward Easter Breakfast & Egg Hunt” to be held April 13th, at Highland Park. Applicant: Coral Canyon 1st.
ii. Consideration to approve a Special Event for “Picnic in the Park” to be held May 3rd, at Highland Park. Applicant Green Springs Ward.
iii. Consideration to approve a Special Event for “Washington 1st Ward Party” to be held May 4th, at Nisson Park. Applicant: Washington 1st Ward.
5. UTAH FOOD BANK:
Consider a request by the Utah Food Bank to support a Mobile Food Pantry to be located in the parking lot of the Old Nisson Mercantile Store, to be held the last Thursday of each month from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Applicant: Linda Trujillo, Area Director. The Washington City Council Approved.
6. PRELIMINARY PLAT:
Consideration to approve the Preliminary Plat for Heritage Place, located on the northwest corner of 2000 South and Washington Fields Road. Applicant: Nisson Fields LLC, Shaun Sullivan. The Washington City Council Approved voting 4 to 1.
7. ORDINANCE:
Consideration to approve an Ordinance adopting Small Cell Infrastructure Design Standards. Power Director Rick Hansen
The Washington City Council Approved voting 4 to 1.
8. DEPARTMENT OF WATER QUALITY:
Consideration to Approve the Municipal Wastewater Planning Program annual report for the State of Utah, Water Quality Board. Public Works Director Mike Shaw. The Washington City Council Approved unanimously.
9. PROJECT:
Consideration to approve the Main Street Drainage Project cross-section. Public Works Director Mike Shaw.
The Washington City Council tabled voting 4 to 1 until April 24th.
