If We Seek To Do Good, You Will Find Happiness

Fall is in the air. The holidays are coming. What a fantastic time of year this is. I am ready to enjoy all the spectacular scenery and colors ahead, aren’t you? This time of year for me always brings out the desire to find ways to do good for others. It has been said on many occasions that if we seek to do good you will find that happiness will always follow you. This can be your source of true joy in this life. When you find your life being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; being a force of nature instead of a feverish, selfish little clot of ailments and grievances, complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy. I am of the opinion that our lives belong to serve our families, friends and communities. For me, looking forward to that service is a privilege that I cherish. May you all enjoy your journey through your time on this earth, enjoy every moment, and quit worrying about those things that really are of no importance. What a wonderful life we can have...........it is up to you. Today is your turn to make a difference.. Mayor Kenny
